Community Psychiatric Support And Treatment (Individual skills building, Supportive counseling, Case coordination)

The purpose of this service is to encourage personal responsibility and development of skills to help adults, children, and families take control of their life, rather than depending upon systems and agencies. TARCO uses a recovery-bases model that focus on helping the client attain personal goals and community resources.CPST serves as an extra support to outpatient counseling and medication management services.

Psychosocial Rehabilitative Service (Individual and Group daily living skills training)

The purpose of this face-to-face service is to assist the client in the restoration or strengthening of skills needed to promote and sustain independence and stability in their living, learning, social and work environments.  TARCO work intensely with the identified client and his/her family using a psycho-educational approach along with behavior modification and insight-oriented counseling.

Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST)

CPST for Adults

  • can help with accessing community resources and benefits like Social Security, food banks, housing, transportation services and government agencies
  • provide assistance in finding medical, social, educational, spiritual, and other services needed.
  • provide behavioral and emotional support for managing mental health symptoms, as well as parenting support for those with children experiencing emotional difficulties
  • link clients with courts, government meetings and specialist appointments.

CPST for Children

TARCO has case management services for children with difficult-to-treat emotional disorders and/or developmental disabilities. CPST can assist with assessing the child and family’s needs and find resources required to address those needs. We work closely with schools and families to make sure your child has all the supports in place to help him or her become a successful student. We attend school meetings with you and your child and assist with IEP development and advocacy based upon your child’s educational needs. A specific and individualized service plan will be developed to identify your child’s strengths and areas of concern. CPST monitors the child’s progress at home and at school. We help parents develop specific behavior plans to reduce problem behaviors at home and school. TARCO staff can provide help to other children in your home if they are clients of the agency.

We are client-driven & we believe in a workable partnership between the client and our case workers.
